I took this photo after a very scary thunderstorm as I was driving back to Texas from California when I hit New Mexico. I remember driving in it very vividly. It was day time but certainly felt like night time with all the dark clouds. After a good while the storm started to clear. And as it was clearing, I looked to my left and there it was, a double rainbow. I grabbed my phone and quickly took this shot.
I wrote this piece a few weeks ago and I wasn’t sure what it would turn out to be. I added a few other elements to it and titled it Through The Looking Glass. There was s sort of a quietness I felt looking at the rainbows. I thought this image would be perfect for this piece.
