What a year it has been!
I could not have done this with you. Thank you SO MUCH for your support and for being here.
I wanted this month’s track to be special. So I added a lil’ of my voice to it. This is a rare thing. Some of you know I’ve been solely focused on composing and not in a position to put out music like I used to. But I wanted to spring this on ya this month to say a BIG THANK YOU!

O Come O Come Emmanual
Emmanuel means ‘God with us’
Woke up the other day really early and started writing my version of this song. For me, knowing that God is with me, when I get up and when I lie down, when I work and when I play. When I’m alone and when I’m in a crowded room. When I’m down and out or when I feel I can face the world. There have been many times where I’ve faced hard things, but knew God was with me. How many times have you faced something terrible but knew God was on your side and things were gonna be ok?
Hope this carves out a piece of hope and peace!
Thats the good news.
The bad news is that the whole track is reserved for paying members.
I know I know. But I did give you enough to enjoy. You could go ahead and sign up for the free trial and grab the whole track and even check out all the locked posts in the newsletter. If by end of 7 days it isn’t for you, no biggie! You can bow out of it.
BUT if you want to help me reach my goal of only doing this full time, I would really appreciate it. Learning your craft and sharing it takes a lot of time. A lot. Anyone will tell you that there are times where you are up late, or up early doing it. Learning it. Paying money to build your craft. When friends go out, us creatives stay in front of the craft to hone it in. We pay our dues. I don’t mind it honestly. I found what I want to do. So it’s really helpful when listeners or readers of our craft, see the value, or maybe not yet, but see the potential and want to get behind an artist and monetarily support them.
So I wanted to give those that have done that for me this first year a gift. And I hope you join us over on that side of things. You can click on the link below to do so.
The Reasons…
I started this newsletter because I wanted a way to write and connect with you, without having to have everything be perfect and edited and polished.
The newsletter has given me much. It has enable me to really engage in my craft in new ways and explore different sounds. I am still finding my voice with composing and this platform has really helped me hone some of it in. It has served as a journal.
It has also been a way for me to release some emotions.
Music for me is about things I’m afraid I can’t deal with. So I write to find what it is I think and feel.
I hope it has served as a release for you as well!
It has been great to hear from many of you. Not just in the comments, but in DMs, emails, and in person even. This is all I want to be doing with my life. So I am working towards that. So this has been helpful in that journey.
A Bit of News ….
I’ve had a crazy year and it just keeps getting crazier. I’ll be headed out to LA for the Sherwood Players International Film Festival where our film ‘The Pinnacle’ has just been awarded the “FINALIST”. It will also be screened!!!
I’m excited for the opportunity to be in a theater with a room full of people, watching our work and seeing their reactions. Its gonna be marvelous. Also we want to win of course!!! And to experience what all the hype is about.
In Conclusion…
I’m excited for our second year together and all the different ways in which I hope we’ll be able to connect.
I’ve decided to randomly grab a few favorite posts over the year in case you want to go down memory lane with me. Which has been your favorite? What have you connected with the most within my newsletter and what are you hoping I might do in year two?
